Hello! As you might have seen, my name is April. I was born and raised in Pasadena, Tx. I moved around Texas in my early 20's and have lived in Denton, San Marcos, and Austin. In the late summer of 2001 I left my family and friends to move up to the NW and lived in Washington. While I was there I experienced my first real snow, my first camping/concert at Hornings Hideout, and made many new friends. I started crocheting in late 1999, after being taught by my mother, and have been doing it since. I have always been into creativity of all mediums. I have taken courses on photography, pottery, drawing, and have been teaching myself to sew and play music. Right now I can fluently play the didgeridoo, and have been teaching myself the acoustic guitar. I also have a deep passion for the out doors. My first camping experience was in 1999 when I lived in Austin, Tx. I soon found I had missed out on something wonderful. I try to get out and camp as often as possible. In Sept. of 2002 I moved to a small town near Clifton, Arizona to get a chance to know my father. In March of 2003 I moved back to the Houston area, and have started doing some local vending and the Last Concert Cafe' on Wed. nights, and at some festivals w/ Kristina's Creations. I have been putting efforts into making my hats into a business, and would like to continue to add to the list of goods I am able to create. It is my goal to become self employeed. I will be updating this page with pictures of personal projects, scenery of the area, and anything else I find interesting.
Thank You for visiting my site, and come back often to see what new ideas I have pulled out of my hat!
